Baseball and softball make up much of the local Friday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School softball team will be back in front of the home crowd as they welcome Paragould to McClain Park. The varsity game begins at 4 at Freedom Field followed by the junior varsity contest.
Elsewhere, Norfork travels to Greers Ferry for a doubleheader with West Side, Flippin makes the trip to West Fork for a doubleheader, Viola heads to Calico Rock, Gainesville travels to Dora, Salem makes the trip to Cave City, Mammoth Spring heads to Armorel, and Lead Hill hosts Omaha.

On the varsity level, Cotter entertains Yellville-Summit, Norfork travels to Greers Ferry to face West Side, Viola is home against Calico Rock, Bakersfield will compete in the Southern Missouri Invitational Tournament at Dora, Salem makes the trip to Cave City, Melbourne hosts Walnut Ridge, Lead Hill entertains Omaha, Valley Springs heads to Clinton, and Harrison travels to Huntsville.
