The Arkansas State FFA Convention was held this week in Hot Springs, and one of the competitions ended with a local chapter receiving the top prize. The team from Cotter High School was named the state winner in the Food Production FFA for Food Fiber Shelter category.

According to a news release, the Cotter chapter produced 824 pounds of meat and 8,628 eggs that were donated to the community. Chapter representatives said about the project, “We donated a lot of meat and eggs to people in need. We try to support those less fortunate than us.”
