The Baxter County Quorum Court will hold their regular monthly meeting Tuesday night at 6 in the 2nd floor courtroom of the Baxter County Courthouse.
In addition to monthly ordinances appropriating funds in the budget, the court will hear ordinances to appropriating fund in the amount of $32,386 to Animal Control to fund a Warden position for the remainder of 2023; an ordinance to compel the timely paying of county invoices; an ordinance to appropriate funds of $750,000 from the LATC fund for renovations to the Carney building; an ordinance to appropriate funds in the amount $70,963 from the revenue fund to the maintenance shop budget; and ordinance to establish and levy reasonable fees to be charged for the housing, care, maintenance and upkeep of animals lawfully seized by Animal Control; and a resolution to reappoint Martha Frazier and Bill Keaster to the Baxter County Equalization Board.
