A former mayor of Mountain Home has passed away. Dave Osmon died Monday night after a lengthy illness.
Osmon was a lawyer in Mountain Home before being elected as Mayor where he served from 2007-2014.
Jennifer Baker was a member of the city council during Osmon’s tenure. She says he helped with a couple of building projects for the city.

Mountain Home businessman Ron Hayden was a friend of Osmon’s for over 40 years. He says Osmon was responsible for two major roads in the city.
