If you are wanted by law enforcement, especially federal authorities, it’s probably not a good idea to argue with employees at a fast food restaurant and refuse to leave. That’s what a man from Kansas did Saturday afternoon in Mountain View and he is now in the Stone County Jail waiting for U.S. Marshals to return him to Kansas to face several charges, including attempted murder and battery of a police officer.

Mountain View Police say 64-year-old Robert Lee Synoracki had reportedly been unruly and cussing inside the McDonald’s restaurant and was asked to leave by employees. When Synoracki refused and argued with the employees, police were called. When officers did a check of his identification, it was discovered Synoracki has multiple warrants for his arrest.

Court records show Synoracki is wanted for attempted first degree murder from a case in Kansas in 1992. Synoracki is also wanted for battery of a police officer in Florida in 1989. Other charges include federal charges of being a convicted felon in possession of firearms and probation violation. In addition to Kansas and Florida, Synoracki has arrest records in North Dakota, South Dakota and Illinois.

Synoracki is being held without bond in the Stone County Jail.
