Two people injured in single car accident in Ozark Co. Sunday evening

A single vehicle accident injured two people Sunday evening inside the city limits of Gainesville.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver identified as 55-year-old Denise Pippin of Ava, was traveling northbound on Missouri Highway 5 when she lost control of her vehicle, ran off the right side of the road, struck and embankment and overturned.

Her passenger, 29-year-old Nicole Rosas of Springfield, was ejected.

Pippin sustained moderate injuries while Rosas suffered serious injuries. Both were transported by ambulance to Baxter Health for treatment of their injuries.
