Several area residents are experiencing a power outage Saturday afternoon.
North Arkansas Electric Cooperative is reporting 1,160 of its members in Baxter County are without power. According to a spokesperson, a power line burned down on U.S. Highway 62B at the traffic light beside the ELKS Lodge #1714 in Mountain Home. Power should be restored within an hour.
Another outage is affecting several area customers of Entergy Arkansas. According to the outage map, 392 customers in Marion County and 105 in Boone County are without power. No reason has been given for the outage.
