The Baxter County Fair continues Friday with the carnival, livestock show and live music.
The day opens with the cattle, goat and sheep grooming contest from 9 until Noon at the Livestock Show Arena.
Commercial booths and the molasses cooking demonstration next to the food booths and livestock barn will be held from 10 until 9.
The livestock skill-a-thon will begin at 1, with the All-Around Showman immediately following.
The carnival will continue from 5:30 until 9:30. Gate admission is $7 for ages 6-and-older and free for 5-and-younger.
The night closes out with live music from Jerry Hopper and Chuck Young from 7 until 9 on the outdoor stage.
