A boil water order has been issued for customers in the Lakeview-Midway Public Water Authority.
According to the Arkansas Department of Health, a boil order was issued for residents in the Lakeview-Midway Public Water Authority on Baxter County Road 276 due to a main break.
All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
Due to a mistake at the laboratory in Little Rock, the Health Department has placed residents in Pyatt Waterworks back on a boil water order effective immediately.
