The Baxter County Farm Bureau Board and Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee have announced the August Ag. Student of the Month recipient, Zoe Donahue.

Zoe is the daughter of Josh Donahue and Tiffany Donahue and a member of the Cotter FFA Chapter, where she currently serves as the Chapter Parliamentarian.

Her FFA Advisor, Mrs. Watts states, “Zoe transferred into our program from another state last school year. Upon her arrival she hit the ground running with her membership in FFA. Zoe’s SAE is two dairy goats that she plans to exhibit at various livestock shows this fall. Zoe was involved in the Floriculture CDE Last year and attended FFA ALC summer camp and plans on having a very active chapter involvement this year.”

Zoe states her favorite memory so far in FFA was going to the national convention and seeing so many different members from all over the United States wearing their blue jackets. Her favorite accomplishment is getting out of her comfort zone, gaining personal confidence and becoming a better public speaker.

This award is sponsored by the Baxter County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, the Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee and Tractor Supply & Co. We will continue recognizing Baxter County’s finest Agriculture students monthly throughout 2023.
