On Tuesday the Mountain Home High School cross country teams traveled to Batesville for the Batesville Invitational and took many of the top honors.
Lucy Koehn won the junior girls 1.55 mile race with Cisily Goettler finishing in eighth place.
Finley Maxey led the way for the Junior Bombers finishing third with a personal best of 9:06.
Despite some mix-ups on the course leading to an unusual race distance the Bombers still took home the team title in the varsity boys race. Senior Ryan Amick led the way in second palce with Bryson Huggins following in seventh.
The most impressive team performance of the day came from the varsity girls race where the Lady Bombers took 6 of the top 8 spots with Erin Smith finishing in second and Whitney Wilber in third.
