Multiple boil water orders issued; two in Baxter Co., one in Stone Co.

A boil water order has been issued for customers in the Northeast Public Water Authority along Buzzard Roost Road.

According to the Arkansas Department of Health, a boil order was issued for residents along Buzzard Roost Road east of Contemporary Drive and all of Mountain Acre Estates as a precautionary measure do to a main break.

In addition, a boil order has been issued for the entire system of Big Flat Waterworks due to a main break.

A boil water order was issued for customers in the Mountain View Waterworks along J.W. Lane due to a main break.

All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
