13 building permits issued in August

A report from the City of Mountain Home’s Building Inspection Manager, Jeannie Anderson, states 13 building permits were issued in August.

A new residential building tops the permits and has been issued to Crownover Construction on behalf of Sam Bailey. The building, located at 151 Augusta Circle has a construction value of $1 million.

Four other permits were issued for new residential buildings to Freedom Hobbs on behalf of Hobbs Investments and Hobbs Siding and Windows, LLC. The buildings include 1077 Ozark Avenue with a value of $120,000; 1080 Ozark Avenue valued at $155,000; 1084 Ozark Avenue with a value of $145,000; and 1069 Ozark Avenue with a value of $150,000.

Three permits were issued for commercial remodels. The permits include Dacus Construction on behalf of Fellowship Cumberland Presbyterian located at 1209 East 9th Street, valued at $229,120; Gregory Company for Little B’s Restaurant located at 1310 Highway 62 East with a construction value of $139,000; and Baxter Health for Baxter Health Gastroenterology located at 228 Bucher Drive, with a construction value of $94,000.

A permit for a commercial addition has been issued to Gregory Company on behalf of Southwind Storage for property located at 2243 Glenbriar Drive with a construction value of $997,642.

Two permits were issued for residential additions, one was for Stephanie Clark for property located at 702 Kenway Street with a value of $60,000; and the other was for Milburn Wilmoth for property located at 449 Ashington Drive with a value of $7,350.

The other two permits were issued for commercial signs. One sign has been issued to Dijohn Designs on behalf of NA Dental Group, located at 2338 Highway 62, with a value of $6,500. The other has been issued to Oxford Signs on behalf of Fat Boyz Smash House, located at 1041 Highland Circle, with a value of $850.

Building permit totals for the month of August equals $9,570. An estimated total construction cost equals $3.1 million.
