Mountain Home did not fare any better in the junior varsity match. Greenwood won in straight sets as they topped the Junior J.V. Lady Bombers 25-20 and 25-17.
Mountain Home junior high teams hosted Harrison Tuesday and saw losses at both levels.
On the 8th grade level Harrison defeated the Bombers with scores of 25-23, 18-25, and 15-11.
The 7th grade team saw similar results with Harrison winning in three matches with scores of 29-27, 16-25, and 15-9.
Elsewhere, Mountain Home Christian Academy hosted Bakersfield and won both matches. It took all five sets for the varsity team to take the win with scores of 25-23, 20-25, 16-25, 31-29 and 15-11.
The junior varsity team swept with scores of 25-13 and 25-18. Caroline Robinson had 16 kills and Kenna Riley had 7 blocks.
Harrison defeated Van Buren in five sets, Salem swept Flippin in 3 sets, and Valley Springs swept Alpena in 3 set.
