On Thursday, Baxter Health announced the appointment of George Lawrence, MD, as its new Chief Medical Officer.
Dr. Lawrence comes to the position with 23-years experience as a board-certified family medicine physician with Regional Family Medicine in Mountain Home.

Peterson states Dr. Lawrence’s part-time position as Chief Medical Officer will not affect his ongoing role at Regional Family Medicine.
