A Fulton County woman has been arrested for child abuse. The incident that led to the arrest of 32-year-old London Bynum of Salem occurred in early September.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Department of Human Services about the case.
When interviewed by detectives, the eight-year-old female victim said Bynum kicked her in the stomach, leg and head, leaving a knot and large scab on her forehead and bruising on her stomach and leg.
A 13-year-old male in the house told investigators London was upset with the victim, kicked her in the stomach, and when she fell to the floor, kicked her in the head.
All four minor children in the home were interviewed and said Bynum, who is the children’s father’s girlfriend, slaps, hits and kicks the two female children, but does not get physical with the two males.
