Saturday morning at 11, the North Central Arkansas Veterans Council will be sponsoring the Annual Veterans Day Commemoration at Veterans Plaza 2000 in Mountain Home. This years festivities include host organization is VFW Post 3246, Master of Ceremonies Dr. George Wolford, Chaplain Jack Tofari, the Chaplain for VFW Post 3236 and guest speaker CW4 (R) Jason P. Nazarenko.
Music will be provided by KTLO FM, the national anthem will be sung by Raquel Houk and the Colors will be provided by the participating Veterans Organizations and Honors by the Honor Guard of Alley- White American Legion Post 52.
Immediately after the ceremony the Elks Club of Mountain Home will be hosting a luncheon for Veterans and their families. This will be instead of cupcakes and coffee at VFW 3246.
In the event of inclement weather, the location will move to Mountain Home Junior High School located at 2301 Rodeo Drive. A decision will be made no later than Wednesday morning. Tune into KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot for announcements.
