Five Mountain Home FFA students took home high honors at the 96th National FFA Convention and Expo recently held in Indianapolis.Students Reid Tagami, Aidan Shrable, Josh Dickinson and Jack Coleman earned a gold ranking and 10th place in the Nation in the event Farm and Agribusiness Management. They spoke with KTLO’s Heather Loftis about their experience at National Convention.

The National FFA Farm and Agribusiness Management event is designed to test the ability of students to apply economic principles and concepts in analyzing farm and ranch business management decisions. Participants respond to questions concerning economic principles in farm business management as well as a problem-solving analysis section. Each team in the event has competed with other chapters in their state for the privilege of participating in the national event.
In addition to the team receiving the gold ranking and 10th place in the nation, Tagami, Shrable and Coleman each placed Gold individually and Josh Dickinson placed Silver.
