The Cotter City Council will hold its monthly meeting Thursday night at 6 in the Cotter City Hall Council Chambers.
In new business, the council will vote to accept of the resignation of Nicole Hatchett for Ward 3, Position 2. The Council will vote at the next scheduled meeting to fill the vacancy.
In other business, the Council will hear a presentation of the 2022 water and sewer audit by Brian Haas; consider a resolution to adopt the 2024 operating budget; and consider and ordinance calling for a special election on March 5 for electors to approve issuing bonds in the amount of $2.4 million to finance the remaining portions of the Phase II Sewer Rehabilitation Project.
