Flippin man arrested for allegedly breaking into storage facility

The Flippin Police Department arrested a man in connection with a report of a break-in at a local storage facility.

According to the Police Chief John Spence, on November 20th, the Flippin Police Department responded to a report of break-in at a storage facility. Investigators were able to obtain the identity of the suspect via recorded video surveillance footage and anonymous tips from the public.

The suspect, identified as 35-year-old Edwin Blackwell of Flippin, was charged with one felony count of breaking or entering and two misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief and theft of property.

Blackwell is currently being held in the Marion County Detention Center on a $2,500 bond.
