On Thursday, former longtime Mountain Home School Board member Neal Pendergrass was presented with the President’s Award at the Arkansas School Board Association in Little Rock.
Pendergrass was honored for receiving more than 500 hours of board member training. The President’s Award was only awarded to five board members across Arkansas this year.
Pendergrass retired from the Board earlier this year.
