The Mountain Home Junior Bomber basketball teams saw mixed results at Annie Camp on Thursday. The Bomber 8th grade team boys team took the win in their game with a score of 39-38. Tanner Alkire and Jonathan Krueger led in scoring. The 9th grade game ended in a loss for Mountain Home with Annie Camp winning 48-17. Leading scorers for the Bombers included Cody Cormican with 7 and Koen Bickford with 5. In the junior high varsity matchup Annie Camp came away with the win over the Bombers 24-19. Top Scorers included Brylee Blasdell, Madison Williams and Lily Akhavi.Thursday also saw the semi-final round of the Battle of the Border at Mammoth Springs. Mammoth Springs girls beat Alton 80-44. The Bears will face Thayer on Saturday in the championship round. On the boys side Mammoth Spring came out again with the victory defeating Highland 64-58. Garet O’Dell led in scoring with 25 points for the Bears.
In other area action Lead Hill beat Mount Judea 58-28 with Cody Lemon putting up 17 points for the Tigers. The Goblins of Harrison saw a loss to Rogers on the road 56-45.
