Three Fulton County men are facing felony charges after assaulting a family member over a disagreement.
According to the probable cause affidavit, on September 5, officers from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Sharp County Sheriff’s Office and the Highland Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance along the 400 block of U.S. Highway 62/412 East in Ash Flat.
Upon arrival officers observed the victim with several lacerations on his face, causing his right eye to swell shut. According to witnesses, their nephews, 36-year-old Dylan Patterson, 63-year-old Kaylon Patterson and 29-year-old Austin Patterson, allegedly “jumped” the victim while he was on the ground and continued to beat him. They stated the altercation was caused by a disagreement over a building known to the parties as “the carpet barn.”
All three suspects left the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
Medical records provided to authorities on December 11, show the victim’s injuries were sustained at the time of the incident.
Dylan, Kaylon and Austin Patter each face a felony count of 2nd degree domestic battery with a $10,000 bond.
