Did you know the state of Arkansas has specific laws when it comes to the sale of alcohol on Christmas?
It’s illegal to sell intoxicating liquors on Christmas Day, according to the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration. That means you can’t go to a liquor store, a convenience store, a restaurant, or a bar to buy alcohol.
Casinos are the only exception to the law because they are licensed through the state’s constitution and not through the alcoholic beverage control.
