
A Mountain Home man suffered what was termed a suspected serious injury from a one-vehicle accident Wednesday evening in Cotter. Thirty-two-year-old Austin Cain was transported by ambulance to Baxter Health.
According to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Cain was traveling on U.S. Highway 62/412. He reportedly drove into the opposite lane near the intersection with U.S. Highway 62B, and the vehicle traveled off the roadway and into a ditch. Cain then drove on the embankment and into a small tree and brushes.
Damage to the vehicle from the 7:23 p.m. accident was estimated at $15,000.
