A West Plains woman who failed to yield causing an injury accident Wednesday night in Howell County is now facing charges.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 59-year-old Linda Harring of West Plains is facing a felony count of driving while intoxicated along with charges of failure to yield and failure to display lighted lamps on a motor vehicle.
Harring was booked and released from the Howell County Jail.
The accident occurred late Wednesday night when on U.S. Highway 160 just north of Missouri Route JJ when Harring failed to yield and struck a vehicle driven by 61-year-old Michael Reich of Mountain Home.
Michael Reich and his passenger, 54-year-old Joy Reich of Mountain Home, sustained serious injuries. Harring sustained moderate injuries and all occupants were transported to Ozark Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.
