Basketball makes up the local Thursday schedule and includes three of Mountain Home’s junior high teams back on the road for an outing with West Memphis Wonder. The eighth grade girls’ game tips off at 5 followed by both freshman contests.
Elsewhere on the junior high level, Salem travels to Newport, Melbourne hosts Cave City, Marshall entertains Shirley, Mountain View is home against Hoxie, and Harrison hosts Farmington for three boys’ games and sends three girls’ teams to Farmington.
In high school basketball, Mountain Home Christian Academy entertains Cotter, Norfork makes the trip to Fox to face Rural Special, Dora’s girls head to Norwood, Lead Hill is home against Deer, and Omaha travels to Jasper.
