The Flippin High School basketball teams went on the road Friday and picked up a sweep at Green Forest. The Bobcats breezed past the Tigers in the boys’ game 66-45. Flippin also won the girls’ contest 51-35.
Mammoth Spring was able to sweep its high school games at Armorel.
The Lady Bears destroyed the Lady Tigers 62-22. Molly Corbett was Mammoth Spring’s top scorer with 16 points, and Bethany Robbins provided 10.
Mammoth Spring’s boys also beat Armorel 69-58. Blake Rogers paced the Bears with 23 points, Garet O’Dell scored 22, and Braxton Sneed added 17.
The Melbourne boys were able to pick up an easy win on their home floor. The Bearkatz beat up on Hoxie by a final of 78-50.
Bergman’s boys suffered a loss on the road. The Panthers went to Osceola and ended up falling 83-65.
The Valley Springs High School teams had mixed results as they played another group of Tigers from West Fork. Valley Springs won the girls’ game 55-30. The boys’ game had a different result as Valley Springs lost to West Fork 77-68.
Ozark Mountain went on the road and invoked the mercy rule in both high school games at Eureka Springs. The final score for both games was 62-32.
