Another possibility of winter weather moves into portions of the Twin Lakes Area on Tuesday. A winter weather advisory will be in effect for Boone and Newton counties in north central Arkansas Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. and for Taney and Douglas counties in southern Missouri Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. A wind advisory is currently in effect for all of north central Arkansas until 6 Tuesday evening.
Meteorologist Eric Greene says the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock is watching a potent storm system moving across portions of the Ozark Plateau over the next 12 to 18 hours.
