Progress continues on clearing area roadways after Sunday’s snowfall, but more work needs to be done before crews are finished, and the current forecast will not help matters.

At 5:45 Monday evening, IDriveArkansas.com was showing U.S. Highway 62/412 had ice patches in Baxter County and slush in Marion and Fulton counties. Arkansas Highway 5 had ice patches from Mountain Home to the Baxter/Izard county line and snow throughout Izard and Stone counties. Arkansas Highway 9 had slush from Salem to the Fulton/Izard county line and snow throughout Izard County. U.S. Highway 65 had snow from St. Joe and continuing further south, and Arkansas Highway 7 had slush from Lead Hill and continuing further south in Boone and Newton counties.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation’s traveler information map, Missouri Highway 5 was partly covered in a wintry mix from the state line to Wasola and clear further north. U.S. Highway 160 was partly covered from Gainesville to just west of the Ozark/Howell county line and mostly clear further east into West Plains. Also in Howell County, Missouri Highway 17 was partly covered from the state line to West Plains, and U.S. Highway 63 was mostly clear throughout the county. Missouri Route K was partly covered from West Plains and continuing west to County Road 6470, and Missouri Route CC was partly covered from West Plains and continuing west to its intersection with Missouri Route AD.
