Marion County man arrested after breaking into storage units

A Marion County man has been arrested after he was caught breaking into storage units. Facing a total of six charges in connection with the incident is 38-year-old Jebediah Olen Parks of Flippin.According to the probable cause affidavit in the case, a Marion County deputy was patrolling the Mill Creek Mini Storage when he noticed a truck parked at the back of the units.

A second deputy arrived and they began searching the storage units near the vehicle when they noticed one was missing a lock. When they opened that unit, Parks was found inside with tools lying on the ground.

It was discovered panels to an adjoining unit had been removed and Parks had started to remove panels to another unit.

While searching Parks, deputies found jewelry bags containing jewelry along with three antique silver spoons.

Parks is facing three felony counts of commercial burglary along with misdemeanor charges of criminal mischief, theft of property and possessing instruments of crime. His bond is set at $20,000.
