
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) – Darius Burford scored 22 points as Illinois State beat Missouri State 69-60 on Saturday.
Burford added three steals for the Redbirds (9-10, 3-5 Missouri Valley Conference). Luke Kasubke scored 12 points, shooting 4 for 9, including 3 for 6 from beyond the arc. Myles Foster had 11 points and was 4 of 9 shooting and 3 of 7 from the free throw line. The Redbirds stopped a six-game skid with the victory.
The Bears (10-9, 2-6) were led by Donovan Clay, who posted 19 points and five blocks. Alston Mason added 18 points for Missouri State.
