2 Baxter County residents injured in 1-vehicle accident northwest of Mountain Home

Two Baxter County residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident northwest of Mountain Home early Sunday morning. Twenty-one-year-old Dylan Decker of Norfork suffered suspected serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to Baxter Health, and 19-year-old Noah Goldstein of rural Norfork suffered suspected minor injuries.

According to the crash report from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Goldstein was the driver of a vehicle traveling at approximately 45 miles per hour on County Road 25, and Decker was his passenger. Another vehicle reportedly pulled out in front of them, and their vehicle left the roadway and struck a power pole.

Goldstein was cited for failure to maintain control and driving left of center following the 1:10 a.m. accident. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $40,000.
