Big Creek Golf and Country Club held its first tournament of 2024 on Saturday. The day ended with Mike Robbins and Jim Wood winning the Snowman Open.
Robbins and Wood took the Championship Flight with a nine-under-par 63 as they beat out Andrew Gillespie and Andy Wescoat by one stroke. Nick and Jack Coleman finished third with a four-under-par 68.
The A Flight needed a tiebreaker to decide the winners as three teams shot an even-par 72. Bill Caller and Dan Mace won the tiebreaker, Mike Cully and Eddie Helmert were second, and Robin and Tim Myers ended up third.
Three teams also finished at the top of the B Flight leaderboard with a 75. Dewey Clark and Larry Wallace won the tiebreaker, Larry Stevens and Steve Judson took second place, and Coty and Jess Watson finished third.
Luis Sanchez and Mike Jones won the C Flight with a 79. Steve L. Smith and Russell Kish were second at one stroke back, and Wes Wood and Erik Stewart ended up third with an 81.
