On Tuesday, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and the Arkansas Department of Human Services announced a comprehensive plan to invest $30 million in American Rescue Plan Act funds to improve mental health and substance abuse services across the state.
The plan was approved by the governor earlier this month and approved Tuesday by the Arkansas Legislative Council’s Performance Evaluation and Expenditure Review subcommittee.
The full Arkansas Legislative Council will consider the proposal on Friday.
