State tax revenue from medical marijuana totaled $2.49 million last month, representing revenue from both the 6.5% state sales tax on the product along with the 4% privilege tax. More than $123 million have been generated since the industry launched.
A monthly breakdown of sales, provided by the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration, shows Plant Family Therapeutics of Mountain Home having sold 117.98 pounds in January.
The Arkansas Department of Health reports 97,253 active patient cards. In January 2023, the Department reported 89,855 active patient cards.
Natural Relief Dispensary in Sherwood sold the largest amount at nearly 505 pounds. Suite 443 in Hot Springs followed with 499 1/2 pounds.
