The Mountain Home High School soccer teams wrapped up their preseason by sweeping their benefit matches over Nettleton on Thursday.
The Bombers took the boys’ match over the Raiders with a 1-0 shutout. David Hanewinkel scored the lone goal off assists from Jacob Bzdel and Aidan Sanders. Sanders also recorded two saves at the goalkeeper position.
Mountain Home also held Nettleton scoreless in the girls’ match. The Lady Bombers picked up the 7-0 victory.
Both Mountain Home teams will begin their season on the road on Monday with a trip to Cave City.
