A woman with a history of violence toward her husband has been arrested again after allegedly stabbing him. Booked into the Baxter County Detention Center Monday was 42-year-old Brandy Lee Willis, who is also known as Brandy Lee Shepherd and Brandy Lee Woods.According to the probable cause affidavit from the Lakeview Police Department, Baxter County 911 received a call of a stabbing at 3:36 Monday morning. When law enforcement arrived, they found the victim who said his wife had stabbed him in the stomach with a knife. He told officers Willis had been taking drugs over the course of three days.
Law enforcement had to force their way into the residence when no one would answer and found Willis inside. They also discovered what is believed to be the weapon she used on the floor along with blood.
The victim was later interviewed at the hospital and told officers Willis had gone to the knife block in the kitchen and taken two knives. She then approached him and stabbed him in the stomach.
Willis is charged with a felony count of battery in the first degree and for being a habitual offender. Her bond is set at $50,000.
Willis was arrested in January of last year when she hit her husband in the mouth with a piece of wood, knocking out some of his teeth and pulled out some of his hair.
When officers tried to arrest her, she kicked one them. A stun gun was used on her, but was ineffective. She then grabbed a saw blade and cut one of the officers on the arm.
For that incident, she was charged with first degree domestic battery, two counts of second degree battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. She pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to 10 years probation.
She also has criminal records dating back to 2006. She has been arrested on charges that include residential burglary, theft of property, breaking or entering, forgery and drug charges.
