Marion Co. Transfer Station closed until further notice

The Marion County Transfer Station will be closed Tuesday unless otherwise notified.

According to Marion County Transfer Station Supervisor Andrew Stroud, the compactors are full and the company scheduled to empty them are short staffed due to illness.

The Transfer Station cannot accept trash at this time to due to health regulations.
