Stone Co. woman arrested for threatening to shoot, bomb, poison relatives

A Stone County woman has been arrested after allegedly making multiple threats towards relatives.According to the probable cause affidavit in the case, on December 4 of last year,  a report was filed with the Stone County Sheriff’s Office about 47-year-old Sunny Elizabeth Long. The victims stated Long had been terrorizing their family for many years, and the problems were progressing.

Long reportedly lives with two elderly relatives and the victims stated she is a danger to the them and has threatened to kill them on more than one occasion.

From Dec. 2 through the 4, the reporting victims stated they received messages from Long that were intimidating, had a threatening nature and then went to sexual images of females. Officials report there did not seem to be a point to any of the messages other than to annoy, harass, alarm and threaten the victim.

On February 19, the reporting victim reached out again to the Stone County Sheriff’s Department with an email containing a screenshot from Long stating, “I will (expletive) shoot you all dead or bomb you or poison you.” The message was allegedly sent after 300 to 400 messages were sent.

Long has been arrested on three felony counts of first degree terroristic threatening, and misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure and harassment.

She is currently in the Stone County Detention Center with bond set at $150,000.
