Baxter Health has announced the addition of Dr. Thomas Knox to the Baxter Health Bone and Joint Clinic where he will join Dr. Win Moore and Dr. Ed Roeder.
Dr. Knox has practiced as an orthopaedic surgeon in Mountain Home since 1983. He earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia and completed his internship and residency at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Knox is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS) and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (FAANA). He is certified as a Distinguished Arthroscopy Leader (DAL) by the Arthroscopy Association of North America and is among an elite group of physicians who have earned the credentials in the field of arthroscopy and related surgery.
Both originally from Thayer, Missouri, Dr. Knox and his wife, Deborah, whom he married in 1975, reside in Mountain Home. They are actively involved in the Mountain Home community, supporting many charitable, civic, educational, medical, and cultural causes. They enjoy traveling, canoeing, hiking, and spending time with their two adult children and two grandsons, and Dr. Knox is an avid motorcyclist, photographer, and pilot.
Together, Dr. Knox, Dr. Moore, and Dr. Roeder have 95 combined years of experience in orthopaedic surgery.
