The Mountain Home High School track teams began their season on Friday by competing in the Y Timing High School Running Festival in Fayetteville.
The Bombers finished tied for seventh on the boys’ side as the host Purple Dogs took the win. William Hill was Mountain Home’s top performer as he was second in the 1600-meter run and fourth in the 800-meter run.
The Lady Bombers ended up in a three-way tie for ninth in the girls’ team standings, and Fayetteville captured that crown as well. Camilla Johnson led Mountain Home as she took fifth place in the 300-meter hurdles.
