The Baxter County Quorum Court will meet in regular session Tuesday night at 6 in the 2nd floor courtroom of the Baxter County Courthouse.
Items on the agenda include an ordinance to appropriate fees and reimbursements in the month of January to the Sheriff’s Office 2024 budget; an ordinance to appropriate funds in the amount of $65,571 from the Local Assistance and Tribal Consistency (LATC) fund carryover budget to the LATC 2024 budget; and ordinance appropriating funds in the amount of $6,000 from the county’s general fund into the sheriff’s office 2024 budget due to an oversight in the budgeting process to cover the cost of the 2023 identity theft hacking; and ordinance to appropriate funds in the amount of $89,100 from the 14th Judicial drug court fund into the 14th Judicial drug court 2024 budget due to an unintentional operational error in the budgeting process; and a resolution to confirm the appointment of Debbie Rowland to the Norfork Fire Protection District Board of Commissioners.
