Two state representative races were decided in the Twin Lakes Area as the winners of both Republican primaries will go into the November general election unopposed.
Jason Nazarenko will enter join the House of Representatives for District 4. Nazarenko ended up with a total of 3,426 votes for 71% to beat out current Baxter County Justice of the Peace Tink Albright with 1,377 votes for 29%. Nazarenko will succeed Jack Fortner, who decided not to run for reelection. District 4 includes portions of Baxter and Marion counties.
