On April 27, Leading Edge Aviation Foundation will be hosting a AOPA Rusty Pilots Seminar at the Baxter County Airport. The three-hour session is designed to refresh lapsed pilots with the information needed to get back up in the air, and provide all the basic information needed for someone who wants to be a learner-pilot and enter flight training.
Lunch is included after the seminar and door prizes will be available for free local “Discovery Flights.”
The seminar will be held from 9 until 12:30 and is free for AOPA members or $89 for non-members. Non-members who participate will also get a free year of AOPA membership.
AOPA Airport Support Network Volunteer for the Baxter County Airport Gerald Gaige states the program is most valuable for pilots who have not been flying much – or for those interested in aviation but do not know where to get started.
