High school baseball and softball make up much of the local Friday schedule.
The Mountain Home softball team will spend its second straight day on the road as they have a non-conference outing with Paragould. The varsity game begins at 4:30 followed by the junior varsity contest.
Harrison’s softball team will be in Rogers to begin action in the Bruce Dean Invitational. The Lady Goblins meet the host Lady Mounties at 6.
Elsewhere, Flippin travels to Bergman for a doubleheader, Mammoth Spring makes the trip to Strawberry for a doubleheader with Hillcrest, Melbourne heads to Cave City for a doubleheader, Marshall hosts Rose Bud, Mountain View entertains Walnut Ridge, and Lead Hill travels to Omaha.
