Area baseball, softball teams to play in Saturday classics

There is high school baseball and softball on the local Saturday schedule.

Gainesville’s softball team will be in Sparta Lady Trojans Classic. The Lady Bulldogs meet Fordland at 10 and Forsyth at 11:30.

Three area schools will have their baseball and softball teams at Bradley Park in Jasper for the Pirate Classic. Both sides start at noon as Bergman faces Jasper, Ozark Mountain takes on Bergman, and the final games will be between Ozark Mountain and Jasper.
