An Ozark County man has been arrested on multiple charges, including rape, after a woman says she was drugged at his residence. Jerry R. Parks of Udall was arrested Thursday for the incident which happened March 26.

According to the probable cause affidavit, the victim had gone to Parks’ house where Parks offered her methamphetamine which they shared. The victim says she passed out a short time later on the bed, believing what she ingested had something else in it to make her tired. She says when she awoke, Parks was having sex with her which she did not consent to. She says she was impaired to the point to could not physically stop the action or speak because she was in and out of consciousness.

The victim told deputies she woke up several hours later Parks took her home where she told family members what happened. They transported her to Baxter Health to be examined.

A search warrant was executed at Parks’ residence, where deputies found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

During questioning, Parks at first said the sex was consensual, but later admitted the victim was incapacitated and had not consented.

Parks is facing felony charges of rape and possession of a controlled substance along with a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Ozark County Jail without bond.
