The Mountain Home High School soccer teams had mixed results as they played at Harrison on Tuesday.
The Bombers took the varsity boys’ match over the Goblins 1-0. David Hanewinkel scored the lone goal off assists from Yonathan Hernandez and Scott Gruetzner, and Aidan Sanders recorded three saves. Mountain Home improves to 13-5-4 on the season.
The Lady Bombers did not fare as well as they fell to Harrison 5-0. The Lady Bombers drop to 9-7-1 on the year.
The evening started with Mountain Home’s junior varsity boys’ getting edged out by Harrison 2-1. Zach Padgett scored the J.V. Bombers’ only goal, and Kaleb Daniel ended up with four saves.
Mountain Home will return to Bomber Stadium on Friday for an outing with Van Buren.
