The ASU-Mountain Home softball team had a rough outing Thursday at Keller Park as they were swept in a doubleheader by National Park.
The Trailblazers fell to the Nighthawks 29-5 in the opener. Ashley Earley led ASU-Mountain Home by going 3-for-3, scoring two runs and driving in another; Kaitlyn Horton was 2-for-2; and Cali Dunn went 1-for-2 with a walk, a run and an RBI.
The late game wasn’t any better for the Blazers as they lost to National Park 24-7. Courtney Vess was 1-for-1 with a three-run home run; Kylee Hodge was 1-for-2 with a solo shot; and Dunn went 1-for-3 and scored two runs, including a two-run home run.
ASU-Mountain Home drops to 0-28 on the year, and they’ll be in Poteau, Okla., next Thursday for a doubleheader with Carl Albert State.
